Gerald “Gerry” Joseph Thomas Thompson II, 40, was born Aug. 5, 1975, in San Bernardino, Calif., the son of Gerald Joseph Thomas Thompson Sr. and Mary Ella (Miller) Estrada. He died May 4, 2016.
He was reared and attended school in the San Bernardino Mountains.
He was united in marriage with Crystal Hutson on May 3, 1995, and one child, Tyler, was born of this union. He later married Marinda Hayden, and to this union three children were born, Gerry III, Serenity and Trinity. In 2008, he reconnected with Crystal, and they were remarried. They were blessed with another son, Zackary.
He was a mechanic specializing in automotive repair. He enjoyed playing the drums and taught his children to play. He also enjoyed wiring and installing car stereos.
Survivors include his wife, Crystal, of the home; his parents: Gerald and stepmother, Sandra Thompson, Texas, and Mary Estrada, California; his children: Tyler Hutson, Gerry Thompson III, Serenity Thompson, Trinity Thompson and Zackary Thompson; four brothers: Lonnie Thompson, Garberville, Calif., Cody Balis, Georgia, Jacob Latimer, Texas, and Micah Estrada, California; four sisters: Angela Parrish, Heather Thompson and Savannah Thompson, all of Texas, and Alexxis Estrada, California; and other family members and friends who will all truly miss him.
